Shree Bhimsen Lower Sec. School
The village of Thulo Bharkhu (2,050 meters above sea level) is inhabited by 256 residents (58 households) of the Buddhist Tamang community. Bhimsen Basic School runs classes from kindergarten to eighth grade. Shree Shiva Basic School is located in the village of Keraujabesi at an altitude of 2,074m, a two-day walk from Arughat. The majority of the villagers belong to the Gurung and Gale ethnic groups. The village of Shipchet is located at an altitude of 2,490m in Tsum valley, in the very north of the district of Gorkha. The village of Chumchet is located at an altitude of 3,260 meters and is mostly inhabited by the Lama Bhoto ethnic group, who, like most of the inhabitants of the Tsum Valley, adhere to Buddhism.
