The earthquake in April 2015 destroyed not only the 35 houses but also the only school building. Six months later, the rubble had to be cleared away before work on the new school building could begin.
The new school is comprised of six new classrooms, a library and additional toilets. It was built on dry masonry with a module of wooden beams and is equipped for 35 students.
