The incessant rainfall from 11 to 14 August in 2017 caused terrible floods and huge landslides in 31 districts of Nepal. Among them 19 districts were severely affected. As of As of 20 September, there were 160 reported deaths, along with 43,400 destroyed homes and 191,700 others partially damaged. Nearly 21,000 households were still displaced.
