ECD Classroom Built with Support from Chay-Ya Nepal Inaugurated

The newly constructed Early Childhood Development (ECD) classroom at Shree Primary School in Bhediyahi, Ward No. 6 of Paroha Municipality, Rautahat, was formally inaugurated by Paroha Municipality Deputy Mayor Sugandhi Devi Giri and Chay-Ya Nepal Executive Director Mr. Kamal Thapa.
Speaking briefly with journalists after the event, Deputy Mayor Giri claimed that there is no conflict or discrimination within the municipality. “There is no disagreement between the Mayor and me. Whatever may be happening in other municipalities, there are no such issues in ours,” she stated.
When asked by reporters about other deputy mayors alleging discrimination, Giri responded, “Even if others are saying things, I personally don’t feel any discomfort. I maintain good relations with both the Mayor and the Chief Administrative Officer.”
The ECD classroom building was inaugurated through joint collaboration between Chay-Ya Nepal and Paroha Municipality, and was facilitated by the National Federation of the Disabled Nepal. The event was held with great enthusiasm and ceremony.
The program was attended by school teachers, local political leaders, planning officers, journalists, intellectuals, and children from the village.
