Total Sanitation Project has been started along with WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene) in School and Health Care Facilities. This project is initiated at 3- Palikas (Thulibheri Municipality- Dolpa, Chhayanath Rara Municipality-Mugu and Simkot Rural Municipality-Humla) from the financial support of UNICEF Nepal and Palikas. Chay Ya Nepal is implementing this project collaborating with local partners (SIDC, HIRYSDEC and DECADE).
Recently, orientation programs at Palika, Ward and Community level were organized. Similarly, secondary level female students were taught to prepare sanitary pad to promote menstrual hygiene.
